Churches met in houses in the first century. The new believers that joined these communities, enjoyed a healthy Christian family life that was characterised with an atmosphere of praise, willingness to sacrifice for one another and the Lord Himself endorsing their conduct by adding to their group.

They worshiped together regularly at the Temple each day, met in small groups in homes for Communion, and shared their meals with great joy and thankfulness,
Acts 2:46 (TLB)

Here are some comments from previous seminar attendees:

It was practical. I liked that it looked at our spiritual lives as believers that we can have an impact on the growth of our church

I feel I made new friends, and also enjoyed fellowship with the friends I already have

I feel refreshed about cell again.

It was a good use of my Saturday as learning how to be an effective servant leader is what is needed in building God's kingdom here on earth
