Community
CLF are committed to serving the community locally and overseas with a great team of volunteers who are committed to investing in the community to bring about change. We live this out by working and supporting families, children and individuals as well as responding to needs as they arise. During the pandemic we ran a food voucher scheme to help families who were struggling. We also ran a scheme where we were sharing with vulnerable families delivering hampers every Saturday. It has been a real joy to see the impact the food hampers have.
Each Christmas we run a Christmas Hamper project where we deliver hampers to over 200 families in Greenwich.
Feedback received from one of our families who received a Christmas Hamper:
Dear Pastor,
God bless you and thank you so much for the food parcel delivered last Sunday. I am so sorry for being late in my reply. The food parcel “Saved” us from a major situation that I am facing at home with my children and thank God for your understanding heart, for your compassion and kindness you have showed us in the last few years. I really humbly and sincerely do appreciate all you have done, and do pray that Jesus (Yahuhsa) will greatly bless, favour and strengthen your ministry & congregation in the hour. The world really needs the Lord now more than ever…
May his Shalawam continue to cover you and thank you so much once again for you amazing assistance.
Respectfully
Supporting the local Prisons
Well if you didn't know already there are 3 prisons right on our doorstep. As a church we are committed to supporting men and their families whilst inside the prison and when they come out. We work in partnership with a number projects such as InsideOut and prison fellowship Prison Fellowship - We believe no one is beyond hope.
Holiday Programme
During the Easter and Summer holidays we run a Children's programme for 5-11 year olds. These programmes are packed with activities, craft, games, circus workshops and sports.
Easter Fun Day
Each year we host an Easter Fun day for the community. Children and families come together to enjoy an afternoon of activities, bouncy castles, crafts and with some sessions thrown in just for parents. It’s a wonderful safe place where families can spend time together and get to now a bit more about the church on their door step.
Please find the videos of our most recent Easter Fun Day which took place on the 16th April 2022:
